When you look at the engine Hemi you will notice that it is shaped differently than the usual wedge shaped one. While the design is unusual you will find that it more efficient as it allows more air through the combustion chamber. As this design is considered quite good you will find that many other car manufacturers besides Chrysler are using it.

Among the various cars in which you will find an engine Hemi is that of the Peugeot 403, BMWs, Stutz, Bristol cars, the Toyota T engine and others. These cars which were named belong to a class of cars from yesteryear which used the engine Hemi to great effect.

This particular version of the engine Hemi is available in sizes. These sizes are 5.7 and 6.1 liters. To help car owners with get an improved economy in fuel some versions of the 5.7 liter engine Hemi will be fitted with a variable displacement technology. This technology is called the MDS or to be precise Multi-Displacement System.
